Export your giving from Tithely

Download your gift history from the Transactions page in Tithely Giving.

Where: Tithely website, signed in as an admin or a user with giving permissions

Steps

Sign in to your Tithely account on a computer.

Click Giving in the menu on the left.

Click Transactions.

Pick the date range you want. We suggest the last 18 to 24 months so the agent can see each family's normal pattern.

Click Export in the top right corner. A CSV file downloads to your computer, usually into Downloads.

Still on the older Tithely 1.0? Go to Giving, then Back to Tithely 1.0, then My Churches, then View Giving Statements, and click export to .csv. Choose “Every transaction” so each gift is its own row.
Keep every column in the export. Extra columns are fine, and we'll ignore the ones we don't need.

In the app, open Data sources and choose to upload a CSV file.
Pick the file you just downloaded. We'll guess which column is which, like gift ID, giver ID, amount and date.
Check the matches, fix any that look wrong, and import. Uploading the same file again later updates your data instead of doubling it.
Press Run agent at the top of the app to look for families who may need care.

Tithely sometimes renames its menus. If a step doesn't match what you see, check Tithely's own help article or contact us.
