These terms apply when you use Giving Steward. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. If you use Giving Steward for a church, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms for that church.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details private and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. Church admins decide who joins their team and what each person can do.

Your church's data

Your church owns the giving data, notes and messages it brings into Giving Steward. You give us permission to store and process that data only to provide the service. You're responsible for having the right to share it with us, including any consent needed from your givers.

Outreach and care

Giving Steward suggests where care may be needed. Your team decides what to do. You're responsible for the messages you approve or set to send automatically, and for following the laws that apply to your emails. Don't use Giving Steward to send spam, marketing blasts or anything misleading.

Acceptable use

• Don't try to access another church's data or break the service's security.
• Don't upload unlawful content or data you aren't allowed to share.
• Don't copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service.

Connected services

If you connect Planning Center or another service, their own terms also apply. We aren't responsible for outages or changes on their side.

Estimates and AI suggestions

Risk estimates, calculator results, findings and AI-drafted messages are helpful guides, not guarantees. Please review them before you act.

Ending your use

You can stop using Giving Steward at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. When an account closes, your church can ask us to delete its data.

Disclaimers and liability

Giving Steward is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost donations. Our total liability is limited to the amount your church paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
