Help your church recover up to $45K in giving each year

Care for the families behind the numbers.

Giving Steward quietly notices when a family's giving changes, like an expired card, a failed gift or a slow drift away. It shows you who might need attention. Then your team decides: a personal call, a pastoral visit, a warm email, or simply leaving them be.

Eight deterministic signals

The agent monitors eight different signals & alerts you of pastoral moments to engage.

Clear reasons, not just alerts

We show exactly what we noticed, like a missed gift or an expiring card, before anyone is contacted.

You're in control

Choose a personal visit, an email you approve, an automatic sequence, or no contact at all.

MOST GIVING DOESN'T STOP ON PURPOSE.

Eight ways a gift quietly stops. Each one caught and a care plan created.

Most lapsed giving is mechanical, not intentional. Six signals watch recurring givers and two watch occasional givers. The agent reads your schedules and gift history like a careful bookkeeper would, and flags exactly what needs a human eye.

Card issue

Card expiring

The card on a recurring gift expires within 60 days. Flagged before the first failure.

Card issue

Card expired

The card on file has already passed its expiry. Every scheduled gift will now fail.

Schedule issue

On hold

A schedule was paused and never resumed — months later, the pause is forgotten.

Schedule issue

Silent failure

Gifts are failing while the schedule still reads active. Nobody gets a notice.

Giving pattern

Gradual lapse

A steady giver quietly misses their usual cadence. Often signs of financial or spiritual trouble that could use pastoral care.

Giving pattern

Downgrade

A recurring amount drops sharply from its established level, or the cadence stretches.

Occasional giver

Occasional giver — long silence

Someone who gives now and then, without a schedule, has gone much longer than usual without a gift.

Occasional giver

Occasional giver — giving decreased

An occasional giver's recent gifts have become noticeably smaller or less frequent than their usual pattern.

Your team stays in charge

You decide what happens next.

Every finding is a suggestion, not an instruction. Giving Steward surfaces real needs in your congregation so you can do ministry and care for your people well.

Reach out personally

Create a care task and assign it to a pastor or staff member for a call, visit or coffee. They get a reminder.

Send an email you approve

AI drafts a warm note in a real person's voice, and someone on your team reviews it before it goes out.

Send automatically, if you choose

For simple cases like an expiring card, you can turn on a sequence that sends by itself. It's off until you turn it on.

Leave them alone

Add a short pastoral note, and the family is kept out of all outreach until you say otherwise.

You're always in control. Nothing reaches a family unless your team chose it.

A typical 300-person church

$25K–$45K

quietly at risk each year — roughly 5 to 8% of total giving. Giving Steward helps your team notice each family and follow up with care. With simple habits in place, a third to half of that giving often comes back along the way.

Pastoral restraint first

The algorithm knows when not to knock.

A lapsed gift after a death in the family isn't a recovery opportunity — it's a care moment. Context notes about grief, illness or job loss suppress a household from outreach entirely, and turn the finding into a care task for a pastor instead.

  • Suppression list your whole team can see and manage
  • Care tasks replace outreach when a family is struggling
  • Every suppression is logged — nothing happens in the dark

How it works

From your giving data to caring for your people, in four steps.

01

Bring in your giving data

Connect Planning Center or B1 Church, or upload a CSV file from any giving platform or accounting service. Giving Steward matches the columns for you and never changes your records.

02

The agent looks for changes

Each night, or whenever you press Run agent, it checks every giver against eight clear signals, like an expired card or giving that has slowly stopped. Families with a pastoral note are skipped.

03

Review and decide

Each family gets one finding, with the dates and evidence behind it. Your team chooses: a care task for a call or visit, an email you approve, an automatic sequence, or leaving them alone.

04

Follow through and see the fruit

Care tasks go to the person you assign, with reminders if they wait too long. When a family starts giving again, Giving Steward notices and shows what was restored.
